There will be a yard sale this Saturday, November 5th to benefit a local teenager and his family.  The young man is suffering from a rare disease that requires periodic treatment at Sloan-Kettering in New York.  The family will travel to New York for another treatment soon and the Walkertown “baseball family” wants to raise money to help defray to cost of this trip.

The indoor sale will take place at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church in Walkertown, starting at 7:00 am this Saturday, November 5th..  They are in need of donations for the sale.  Christie Rice, one of the event organizers, says that she has volunteers to help price items on Friday night at the Church, but they need folks to donate!  You can bring your items to the Church on Friday evening, November 4th at 6:00 pm.  Rice also said that they are accepting cash donations.

For more information on the sale, or a cash donation, you may contact Christie Rice at 336-749-2810.
